The Wylie Basketball Association (aka WBA) is a non profit, recreational, youth basketball association.
The WBA exist to provide an equal opportunity for each participant to learn the game of basketball.
The WBA offers recreational leagues for boys and girls in grades 1st through 6th and instructional camps for Kindergarten.

2008-2009 WBA Basketball Information
TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE
TOURNAMENTS WILL BEGIN WEEK OF FEBRUARY 9TH - 14TH
ALL COACHES ARE TO REPORT THEIR SCORES TO THE LEAGUE E-MAIL ADDRESS BY 8 P.M. - FOR GAMES PLAYED SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 7TH! Brackets will be posted Sunday @ noon if all scores are reported.
There will be NO practices during the week of the tournament for WBA Teams.
Bracket is loaded under the Handouts Tab AND will be updated at 11 p.m. nightly unless a coach does not e-mail their scores in. THE TEAM THAT WINS WILL NEED TO E-MAIL THE SCORE IN!
In the event of a tie in any division the board will set brackets following guidelines used in prior years. The brackets will be posted Sunday night as to where your team is.
Once the tournament begins all scores must be report that same evening by 10:00 p.m..

Trophies will be handed out immediately following the championship game on Saturday after each divisions game.
Pictures will be available for the coaches to pick up on Monday night - Location will be e-mailed to coaches.

WBA has a "NO REFUND POLICY" - NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED AFTER OCTOBER 31, 2008 FOR WINTER 2008-2009 SEASON.
LIL' DIBBLERS JAM SESSION
WBA offers a instructional camps for our Kindergarten athletes.
There will be no games for the Lil' Dribblers, we will be teaching fundamentals and basic skills.
Jam Sessions will be taught by board members and coaches of the season. We will use the fundamentals and basic skills in all our sessions.
Jam Sessions will be 1 night a week for 4 weeks for 60 minutes.
Lil’ Dribblers will begin soon.
They will be on TUESDAY nights from 6:00 – 7:00.
Location and Dates to be announced ASAP.
Parents will be contacted some time the week of November 17th via e-mail or phone.
Inclement Weather Policy
In case of inclement weather, WISD school closings for WBA Practice/Game Gyms will be posted on this website as well as www.wylieisd.net.
