Finish Line In Sight!!

With just over a month left in the season the finish line is in sight. Your GUNS have played hard all season long. With a small break over the 3 day weekend we will get back to work with a kid pitch game Tuesday. Thursday we play the Take2Storm who has been eye balling us all season. Followed by a weekend in Enid. The final push starts next week with State and the World Series in view now is the time to get all the extra work in we can get. Have a safe weekend and keep the Navarros in your prayers. Ray J lost a grandparent last week and is headed across country for a funeral. YOUNG GUNS!!!
Shots make it 2 in a row!!!
There were no Ducks on the GUNS menu this weekend. The rain and Hot Shots made sure of that. Your GUNS came out early putting the Blaze out in a hurry. But the Shots put 5 shots over the fence to put the GUNS in the losers bracket. The boys played well but costly errors at the wrong times put runs on the board for the shots. When the boys get the sicks and gloves going at the same time we will make a big jump. Will let everyone know about the practice schudle for this week.
Hero Comes Home Thursday!!!

Our very own Hero comes home Thursday. Mr. Navarro has been over seas protecting our Country for an extended period of time. The YOUNG GUN NATION would like to thank him for protecting us all. Brackets are out. Game time is 10:30 Saturday morning against the Edmond Blaze. Looks to be a great weekend. YOUNG GUNS!!!!

With deer season over it looks to be duck season. Your MIGHTY GUNS look to play in Edmond again this week. With a very strong field of the top 8U machine pitch teams in the state. Revenge is at hand. The Mighty Ducks were 1 of 2 teams that beat the YOUNG GUNS that the boys did not return the favor. It will be a very tough tournament. I will let everyone know when brackets are out.YOUNG GUNS!!!
P.S. When I said duck season that means in no way actually shooting a Mighty Duck. For the bleeding hearts out there!!!

The Hurricanes brought a halt to the YOUNG GUNS winning streak lastnight in the cold. It was a hard fought game with a final score of 7-6. The GUNS rallied late with the bases loaded the Canes 2nd baseman caught a line drive to end the game. Enjoy a couple of days off and we will be back at practice Thursday at Young Gun Field at 5:30. YOUNG GUNS!!!!

Your MIGHTY GUNS were back on track this weekend. The boys played great on both sides of the ball. Giving up 9 runs in 6 games while scoring 103 runs. The tightest game of the weekend was against the 7U Elite ending in a 9-3 win. Hats off to those boys a class act. In the finals the game was called after a collision at the plate. Your MIGHTY GUNS were up 11-1 when the tigers catcher stood infront of home plate acting like he had the ball. Big mistake!!! He learned the hard way what most catchers learn in TBALL stay out of the base line. Other than that it was a great weekend. The freezing weather could not cool down these boys. YOUNG GUNS!!!!!
Preseason Is Over!!

Now its time to become the hunter. With the preseason tournament over its time to start the season off. Your MIGHTY YOUNG GUNS can smell the blood in the water. Teams that flocked to tournaments last year are nowhere to be found. Its time for your Mighty Guns to go looking. We will play in Edmond April 3-5 with 11 teams already in it looks to be a fun one. After that it looks to be 2 weeks off then on to Enid. Lets get ready to bring some heat. ROLL ON YOUNG GUNS!!!

As my old high school coach would say. Your MIGHTY YOUNG GUNS came out shooting in the first tournament of the year. We looked like allstars on Friday and came back to earth on Sunday. Trust me when this team gets things going they will be one of the top 8U teams out there. We finally have all the pieces to make a run at a great year. With some practice this team will reach new heights. The staff would like to welcome everyone aboard and be ready for a fun year. Roll On Young Guns!!!!
Time To Start The Season.
Time to cut the ribbon on a new season. The boys looked pretty sharp against the Black Sox lastnight. Now its time to take on the hot shots in the season opener. We will be at Moore Ball Park with a starting game time of 7:30. Besure to be there no later than 7:00. Lets kick off the season with a bang! YOUNG GUNS!!!!!!

That looks to be it. With our last addition this team looks to be complete and ready to ROLL. Now it's just a matter of getting outdoors and getting ready for war. This team looks ready to rip into the other 8s like Coach T into a BBQ chicken wing. Lets get ready for our first scrimmage next Saturday with the Moore Tigers. YOUNG GUN NATION!!!!!!!!!!

That's what this staff is all about. We try to out work EVERY team out there. The boys took the challenge yesterday and showed what is a head for all our future foes this season. The boys worked hard and enjoyed a wonderful day outside. Thanks to everyone that could make it on short notice. Next time Tony needs to make sure he plans around Romans "nap time" but other than that it was a great workout! ROLL ON GUNS!!!!!!
Construction Of The Young Guns Continues!
The construction of this team is nearing completion. Things are coming together like the Staff could have never imagined. The boys are right where we want them. The Staff will watch the weather for the first chance to get these boys outside. The indoor field has been great for the infield, but the outfield needs the room to let Coach D go to work with them. Roll on GUNS!!!!

The beginning of a new season is at hand. We have a few new faces and alot of old ones. That's the difference between this team and alot of others. We are not out looking to recruit a great team. All we want is parents and boys willing to put the work in to become better ball players. Things are looking up for this group. We are way ahead of where we were last year. Now its up to the Staff to keep pushing these boys forward. Roll On Guns!
