The Poolesville Falcons finished a great season today with a loss to Smithsburg in the 2nd round of the playoffs.

Coach Gardiner had this to say about the team, "This was truly a great group of players. I really have to thank everyone on the team for making this season a lot of fun. I especially want to thank our three seniors, Daniel Young, Kevin McNealy, and Dane Hanscom. Those three were tremendous leaders both on and off the field. I also want to point out that all three are excellent students in the classroom who are consistently striving to push themselves. That makes a big difference for the entire program when we are able to have three such incredible individuals leading the way. They have set a standard that will continue to show the younger players how to act on the field and in the classroom."
