About Susquehanna Braves Baseball
The Susquehanna Braves Baseball Club is a mens unlimited semipro baseball team. We have competed in the Baltimore Baseball League (BBL), Susquehanna Semipro Baesball League (SSBL) and the Gunpowder Fall Baseball League (GFBL). We currently participate in the SSBL and conclude the season participating in the GFBL. The Braves have been a part of the SSBL since 1999. The team is located in Bel Air and plays primarily at Harford Community College. Members of the team have all played or are currently playing at the colleigate level, along with a few former professional players. On average we usually play 2-3 games per week starting in May and finishing in August with the summer season. The fall season begins in September and runs through November. Since 2004 the Braves have participated in the SSBL, BBL & GFBL and has compiled a 209-159-1 record. Along with winning the Susquehanna Semipro Baseball League Championship in 2006 and numerous fall ball crowns, the tribe has been a perennial playoff team for the better part of the last 10 years in the leagues it has participated in.
