"Help Us Light Our Field!" Project is underway and on schedule!
If you haven't been to 3rd Street ballfield in a while, you just might not recognize it. There are tremendous changes taking place daily. New bullpens have been built, a batting cage was moved and reconstructed, a picnic pavillion has been constructed, french drains installed, the entire site has been lanscaped, and groundwork has been done to prepare for the installation of lights and the construction of a concession stand, press box, and restrooms.
We are still raising money to fund the project. Our October 11th tag day collected $1822. Many businesses and individuals have donated time and money as well.
Help be part of Redbirds History:
You or Your Family can purchase one of 32 Lights for $250 - Will have the light named after you on a plaque that will go on our Concession Stand. You also have the option to purchase $100 worth of block for our Concession stand and restrooms.

Hello From the President!
hello redbirds fans,
Welcome back once again to our website. The season is over and the snow is ready to fly but we are still in full swing renovating 3rd st. into what we think is going to be the priemere field in the valley and maybe the state. We will be continuing work throughout the fall and into the early parts of the winter weather permitting. Please try to stop down and take a look at what is happening. We could also use any help that you could give us. We are ther every night from 4:30 until dark and all day on the weekends.
If you want to be part of the project but cant get down to help, we are selling single light fixtures for $250. We have 32 lights and 25 of those are already sold. There will be a plaque hung at the field for all light donors. If you want to dedicate it to a family or an individual, that is fine also. We are also selling single conrete blocks for $2 apiece. There are 1600 blocks. There will also be a plaque for these donors. So please be a part of Redbirds history in some way!!!
The Redbird organization took part in the Miracle League fundraiser on Sunday, October 11th at John Marshall High School. It was a spaghetti dinner to help raise funds for a new field which will be located at I470. We were the only organization that was represented with over 30 coaches, parents, and players helping set up, serve, and clean up. It was a very proud day for the Redbirds Organization. I want to personally Thank all who helped make it a successful day for the Miracle League.
Go Redbirds!
