Little League 10 Commandments |
1. I shall not criticize the umpire unless ready to assume the duties.
2. I shall not complain about anyone unless I have labored more hours on the Little League program than they have.
3. I shall not be a "grand-stand" manager.
4. I shall remember that only nine/ten team members can play at any one time.
5. I shall not be critical unless willing to put out the necessary effort to correct my concern.
6. I shall set an example of sportsmanship for my child to follow.
7. I shall remember that all managers, coaches,league officials, & concession workers are volunteers.
8. I shall remember that all officers and other league personnel must earn a living and cannot spend all their time on Little League business.
9. I shall offer my services for work whenever possible.
10. I shall encourage my child to follow the Little League Pledge.

A huge thanks to all the kids who came out to help at Lowe's Foods on Saturday 11/7 with the food drive. The kids helped to put together over 200 bags of food. WAY TO GO GUYS!
Another huge thank you to all of those parents and kids who came out on Saturday 11/7 to help with work day. There was a ton of stuff acomplished and several projects that still need to be finished ASAP. We are also in need of people to help with the cleaning of resturant equipment. If anyone is interested in helping out please send an email to playball@walkertownlittleleague.net for more details.
The WLL Board of Directors currently has a few vacant positions: 3 player agent positions and volunteer coordinator.
If you would be interested in any of these positions please contact a current board member for more information.
Effective October 12th, 2009......any non WLL team wanting to use the fields or batting cage must meet certain criteria. Please contact Crystal Royall at 416-2535 for the criteria and rental rates.
Please keep the Shipley family in your thoughts and prayers during this time.

IF YOUR CHILD IS RUNNING A FEVER PLEASE KEEP THEM AT HOME. WLL IS COMMITTED TO KEEPING OUR CHILDREN AS WELL AS POSSIBLE DURING THE UPCOMING FLU SEASON
MANAGERS, COACHES, AND TEAM MOMS ARE URGED TO CARRY HAND SANITIZER FOR YOUR TEAMS TO AID IN THE DETERMENT OF THE SPREAD OF GERMS.
PLEASE REMEMBER THAT IT IS THE POLICY OF WLL THAT NO VEHICLES ARE ALLOWED BEYOND THE PARKING AREAS FOR ANY REASON. ANYONE CAUGHT DRIVING IN COMMON AREAS WITHOUT SPECIFIC PERMISSION FROM THE PRESIDENT WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE COMPLEX.

PLEASE REMEMBER THAT IT IS NOT ONLY THE POLICY OF WALKERTOWN LITTLE LEAGUE BUT OF LITTLE LEAGUE INTERNATIONAL THAT THERE IS TO BE NO ALCOHOL IN LITTLE LEAGUE COMPLEXES.
PLEASE REMEMBER THAT IF YOU ARE A PARENT, MANAGER, OR COACH YOU SIGNED A PAPER STATING THAT YOU ARE AWARE THAT YOU WILL HAVE TO WORK A SHIFT IN THE CONCESSION STAND.

is for one of you to email your scores to
