WHITBY WOLVES QUALIFY FOR PROVINCIALS!!!
After winning a Double Round-Robin series against North Durham & Oshawa with a 3-0-1 record, our girls have qualified to go to the OWHA Atom C Provincials in April. Well done girls and well deserved. Lets work hard towards winning a Provincial medal to add to our season accomplishments.

WHITBY WOLVES GRAB GOLD IN DURHAM WEST TOURNAMENT!!!
On September 5th, the Atom B girls team was born and in just over 5 months they have become TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS. Your parents & coaching staff couldn't be more proud of the effort that our Atom B girls put forth this weekend. Our record was 4 & 0 and we had 17 goals for & 2 against. Great teamwork girls! You won with heart, determination and grit, just like what the coaching staff has asked from you all season. Enjoy your win & congratulations girls...job well done!

Hair for Cancer
One of our girls, Chelsea M. has donated 8" of her hair to help young cancer victims. The Charity Chelsea is donating her hair to is affiliated with the Canadian Cancer Society and is called Pantene Beautiful Lengths.
Chelsea's parents, Atom B teammates & coaching staff are extremely proud of her generous donation. Please see the Photo Album for the before & after pictures.

What a game girls!!! Your 1st home win. There are so many highlights...where to start? Our captian, Sarah, scored her first goal ever. What a birthday present for her Dad! Good forechecking and great goaltending helped ensure the victory and Jessica's GWG sealed the deal.
We are currently in 3rd place for the Atom B LLFHL playoffs and with allot of hard work & determination for our final regular season game next week,and some help from other teams, we have a chance of staying in 3rd.

Congratulations Girls!!! You earned your 1st Tournament medal this weekend. You went into the finals undefeated and without a goal against and not many teams can boast about that statistic. Your parents & coaching staff are proud of you for battling back in the 3rd to make it a close game. Lets work hard towards winning a different colur medal in the Durham West Tournament in February.

FANTASTIC EFFORT ATOM B !!! You all played a key role in our 2-2 tie against Belleville. Your parents and coaches are extremely proud of your efforts. We had the lead for half the game and Belleville , we're sure, were wondering where this Whitby team came from. Our goalies stood on their heads and frustrated Belleville's top shooters. It's just goes to show you that all of your hard work during practices results in games like today. Well done girls! YOU ROCK!.

Well Girls...you gave us a real scare. With 21 seconds to go and our goalie pulled, Laura came through with a dramatic game tying goal, assisted by our captian Sarah. What a relief after dominating Scarborough for most of the game. Both of our goalies played well and it only shows that determination reaps rewards when you really want to win a game. Well done girls! That's 7 points out of our last 8 regular season games. Keep up the hard work and great things will come from it!

2 WINS in 3 GAMES!!! WAY TO GO ATOM B GIRLS!!! You all played a hard fought game against Clarington and winning your puck battles paid off with your 2nd win of the season. That's 6 points out of our last 6 games.
Congratulations girls and keep up the hard work!!! It's really starting to pay off and your parents & coaching staff love watching you improve with every game. You all make us proud!!! Congratulations to Shannon on being named one of the team Alternates this weekend. You well deserved it!

3-3 tie against Etobicoke...A well played and exciting game girls! Shannon led the way with a 3 point game & Montana opened the scoring with her 1st of the year. CONGRATULATIONS to Sarah(Captain)and Laura(Alternate)on receiving their team leadership assignments.It is very important that players demonstrate commitment, work hard during practice and in games and work towards ensuring that every member of the team feels valued and included. The coaching staff will be looking to assign 2 more assistants by Christmas and ALL of the girls are expected to strive for that goal.
