A big thanks to our sponsors and all those that helped on and off the ice at and leading up to the event!!

Please contact Derek Medland 819-827-9458 or Sam Seymour 819-827-0934 for details on how to get involved.  Stay tuned for 2013!!

This event benefits all users of the pond – thanks to all those who make a financial contribution to off-set our costs.  This year we have had a significant increase in the operating costs due to some essential pond maintenance … we appreciate your financial contributions to help.

Please remember if you do visit our pond that is run and operated by the community and users (not the municipality) for a skate there are a few rules that will ensure that you are welcomed appropriately:

1.       EVERYONE is expected to shovel (especially before you leave … remember we can’t flood unless all the snow is scraped).

2.       Please leave the area in better condition than you found it (take your garbage with you, place shovels standing up in the snow, shovel before you leave …).

3.       Respect the neighbours (keep noise respectable, lights out at 10pm & wrap the cord up out of the snow …)

4.       Respect and include all levels of play.

5.       Never go on the rink(s) when they are not completely frozen.

Come out and help beyond when you want to skate & play … the upkeep is done by the users, so if you want to skate we expect you to
