I am a decorating fanatic. One might say I have some sort of disorder. I don't think any room in the house (except the kids bedrooms) has stayed the same for more than 6 months at a time. I have every paint color under the rainbow in my garage along with a full inventory of accessories and soft furnishing to utilize at a whim. 

When I discovered shabby chic I was in heaven! I painted every piece of furniture I owned white and slip covered every upholstered   furnishing in the house with white covers. Oh , how much easier it was to change the theme of a room! Change the wall color and soft furnishings and  voilà ...  White is WONDERFUL!!! Especially for slip covers ... a little bleach and it's just like new.

I love to make slip covers from old white linens, chenille,matelasse, and barkcloth. 

I have been designing and selling romantic lighting and home decor accessories for many years  (specializing in lighting for designer nurseries) and though I have found my work and clients incredibly rewarding it's time to move on and rejoin the corporate world which I have also missed (I know, many of you may not understand) but hey, take advantage of my liquidation items. The Dinning Room This Month

 OMG this furniture took me days and days to paint! I swore I would never paint anything again ..
That lasted about 3 weeks .. hehe 
           
TIP: You can Change the look of your dinning Room by simply recovering the seat cushions. It is so easy. Just cut a square and staple.

           
TIP: Curtains were from my daughters bed sheets from many years ago .. I just thought they were so fun, I had to Find something to do with them!  
           

TIP:DON'T cut those perfect spreads ... simply tuck them in and use PVC  pieces to hold them down in Place

TIP: Discount stores Like Marshall's and TJ Max have GREAT deals on designer linen's (lots of reproduction things .. ashwell too!) Inexpensive way to add color .. Pillow cases!

TIP: When I don't have the heart to cut those pretty vintage fabrics I simply Lay them out some where .. Like art!
   

TIP: Big Cabbage Rose Bouquet Prints from the 40's (barkcloth and barkcloth era curtains and fabrics)
