There will be an Open House where there will be more than 20 colleges and Junior teams that will available for you to talk with. Attendance is mandatory for all players (male & female) born in 1998. Players born in 1997 or 1999 are also welcome to attend, but the 1999’s will be required to attend next year.  Attendance will assist in consideration toward AHAI sanctioned Player Development events including, but not limited to, AHAI sponsored Clinics, America’s High School Showcase, etc. High School, Bantam & Midget age players and Girl’s born before 1998 who have not attended a College Night Seminar in the past are also required to attend. Everyone else is invited and encouraged to attend this FREE Seminar, including parents and friends of ice hockey.

In order to attend this Seminar, you must register On-Line at www.ahai.org. OnLine registration will not begin until September 24, 2014. Go to College Night Player Registration on AHAI Home Page. In order to attend this Seminar, you must fill out the online Application form in its entirety. A PDF confirmation will be created after you submit your registration form on-line. This PDF confirmation will also be e-mailed to you. You MUST PRINT this confirmation and YOU MUST BRING THIS CONFIRMATION SHEET WITH YOU to the College Night Seminar. There is a bar code on the sheet which must be scanned to verify attendance.

We encourage coaches, parents and all friends of hockey to attend so that all participants in Illinois hockey will have a better understanding of the realities and numerous avenues open to hockey players as they progress. After a joint presentation of opening remarks, the balance of the Girls Seminar will adjourn to a separate room.  Parents do not need to register on-line – Only Players!  We especially encourage all parents to find out the real facts about hockey after high school so players can better plan today for their futures.

The Seminar will begin promptly at 7:00 p.m. and will end at 9:30 p.m.  Late arrivals WILL NOT BE ADMITTED and will constitute non-attendance.  Players MUST stay the entire length of the Seminar.  Leaving early will constitute non-attendance.  In addition, as a matter of respect for the speakers, ALL PLAYERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO STAY IN THEIR SEATS throughout the Seminar once it begins.
