Five Members of the Lanies/Lynn's Team get put on All-World Team
Congratulations to Rich Ferriggi, CJ Tarver, and Nick Carr for making the first team, ALL World for the MCFFU World Championships this year.
Rich Ferriggi was 1st Team QB, CJ Tarver was 1st Team WR, and Nick Carr was 1st Team LB.
Also Javon Jones as 2nd team DL and Brian 'Red' Gransden was 2nd team OL.
Lanies/Lynns Places Third in 2012 MCFFU World Championships
Congratulations to the Lanies/Lynns Flag Football Team for a strong performance and showing at the 2012 MCFFU World Championships. The Lanies team finished 3rd overall. CJ Tarver was named overall tournament MVP!!!

LANIES WINS 2011 - MCFFU NORTHEAST NATIONALS
The Lanies team entered the 2011 - MCFFU NORTHEAST NATIONALS with high hopes on a strong finish to bump them up in the 9 man national rankings. They entered the tournament at number 10 on that chart, but with at least 4 teams who are currently higher seedings also in the tournament, it would be a tough road ahead.
Day One of the Tournament put the Lanies team against 2 top 10 teams. The first was PIF/MainEvent combo team and the second was a tough BlueDoggs team. Lanies defeated PIF/MainEvent pretty easily, but struggled against a BlueDogg team. Lanies has lost every time they have faced the BlueDoggs. Lanies finished 1-1 after the first day of the tournament.
Day Two started with Lanies being the #5 seed of 9 teams. They needed to win 3 games back to back to get their first Championship. Lanies first game was against the Franchise, the number 4 seed. Lanies defeated Franchise 17-0. The second game of the day for Lanies was against the PIF/MainEvent team, the number 9 seed. Lanies stomped them 31-0.
At this point in the day the Lanies team had to pack up and drive to the second field and watch the end of a very tough BlueDogg vs Omni game. BlueDogg's were ranked 2 and Omni was ranked 3. Lanies had a dilemma on their hands, face the BlueDogg's whom they never defeated or another tough Omni team that always gives everyone a challenge. The BlueDogg's ended up defeating Omni 22-18. Lanies faced off against the BlueDogg team for the second time of the tournament and defeated them 21-0.
The Northeast Tournament wins really came down to everyone on the Lanies team playing at 100% and picking each other up every game! The Lanies Offensive MVP was Rich Ferriggi (QB). The Defensive MVP was Nick Carr. The overall Tournament MVP was Kyle Meyer. **********************************************
Lanies/Legends Win local CDFFL A Title
