2012 SUMMER VOLLEYBALL SEASON
Greetings Parents, Coaches and Players,
The High School Season is over for all our local schools and I would like to congratulate all of them for another great year.
CONGRATULATIONS to all players, coaches and parents! Great Sportsmanship!
The Club Summer Season just began and the 14's and 16's Teams are practicing in full speed. A few players returning from the Fall Season and a few new faces joining the program. The coaches and I are happy.
Unfortunately, no 18's Team for the Summer Season this year.
There are Two Tournaments for the 14's - Under Traveling Team {One 1-day tournament and the Boys Classic (a 3-day tournament)};
There are Four Tournaments for the 16's - Under Team {Three 1-day tournaments and the Boys Classic (a 3-day tournament)};
The Boys Classic will be the Culmination Summer Tournament for the SB Spikers Traveling Teams.
It is the most competitive tournament of the year and teams from all over the country attend this event (Hawaii, Chicago, New York, Arizona etc), plus teams from Canada and Mexico too. Great tournament tough competition! Almost all College Coaches are present too.
THIS YEAR NO SB SPIKERS TEAM IS GOING TO JUNIOR OLYMPICS IN DALLAS - TX.
The 14's - Under Teams (Traveling and Non-Traveling) are still practicing and will keep practicing and playing through the Summer Season.
14s TRAVELING TEAM:
PLAYERS: Morgan Pierce, Piper Davis, Braeden Lisea, Davis Schell, Cooper Johnson, Dax Galvan, Kyle Cobian, Matthew Suh and Noah Pfeiffer
14s NON-TRAVELING TEAM:
PLAYERS: Forest Brent, Ty Still, Nate Fay, Ryan Fay, Blake Ladd, Pierce Simmons, Cole Freeman, Armon Ghodoussi, Conor Scheinberg
16's TRAVELING TEAM:
PLAYERS: Nate Holmes, Niko Plesons, Baker Johnson, Will Pulice, Ross Warden, Hayden Millington, Jack Skjervem, Harrison schell, Cole Wenal, Quinn Denkensohn, Connor Dougherty
16's NON-TRAVELING TEAM:
PLAYERS: Jasper Rhodes, Nicolas Smith, Dylan Carmody, Sebastian Galvan, John Chambliss

BUDGET SUMMER 2012 SEASON:
Budget Covers all items below, except meal money.
BASIC EXPENSES/BASE DUES:
SCVA/USAV fees (Tournaments entry fees - All One-Day Tournaments + Boys Classic)
Gym Rental
Coaches & Director fees (practices and tournaments)
Administrative expenses: Printing; Copies; Office Paper etc)
Additional Liability Insurance
Payroll Taxes
Coaches per/diem for tournaments
Miscellaneous expenses (First-Aid Kit, Balls etc.)
TRAVELING EXPENSES: HOTEL: BOYS CLASSIC
SUMMER PAYMENTS:
14's & 16's- Non-Traveling Players = $200.00 monthly (May 1st and June 1st, 2012)
14's - Traveling Team = $1,000.00 (May 22nd - June 26th, 2012). Two payments of $500.00 (May 23rd and June 14th)
16's - Under Traveling Team = $1,200.00 (May 6th - June 26th, 2012). Two payments of $600.00 (May 16th and June 14th)
