11 year old Valley Stream Baseball club is Memorial Day Tournament Champions!
The new East Coast Hawks of Valley Stream 11s travel team managed by Coach Lee Bogner and David Romero are undefeated champions, 5 wins no losses, in this year's New Hyde Park games played at Nuzzi Field.

CLUTCH HITTING! The championship game went extra innings with RBI thunder at the bottom of the lineup by #7 Matthew Russo, #5 "Bogs" Bogner (2) and #4 Ricky Grosso broke open the 5 inning scoring draught and doing the game winning damage in the top of the 8th.
COMMAND PERFORMANCES!Six straight scoreless innings from the "bump" trio of starter #14 Mike Milillo (4 IP, 2 with 0 runs), middle relief from #10 Brian "BOO" Bilello (2 IP) and Winner/Closer # 11 Andy Labeck (2 IP) held the strong bats from big NHP boys to donuts 'till victory was ours!
