Coach Parendo has coached football for 27 years both at Proctor and on the Iron Range. Coach Parendo is a PHS alum and played for Coach Dave Hylla. Coach Parendo also played basketball and baseball in high school. Coach Parendo graduated from UMD and holds a Master's Degree from Saint Mary's University and also holds an Administration license. Coach Parendo has won several coach of the year awards and has spoken at the MFCA coaching clinic on several occasions regarding the Proctor Football team and how we run the program. Coach Parendo is also an Assistant Girls Basketball coach. Currently Coach Parendo is the Dean of Students at Proctor High School. Coach Parendo is also involved in coaching youth basketball.
