Mackenzie has been playing softball for over 11 years for competitive organizations such as Nightmare. She attends Monmouth University and is a rising sophomore. Mackenzie started every game in center field for Monmouth during the 2023 Spring Season. Defensively, she threw out three baserunners and had a 0.950 fielding percentage. She was tied for the team lead with 23 hits and six doubles versus CAA opponents this season, all while tallying a team high in total bases (31). As a freshman, Mackenzie was the first Hawk to be named to the CAA All Rookie Softball Team and to be awarded CAA Rookie of the week on March 14, 2023. In high school Mackenzie received several accolades including but not limited to 2022 Shore Conference B-North Player of the Year, First-Team South Jersey Non-Public A All State team, played in the Shore conference All Star game and the All State Senior All Star game. As a junior, Mackenzie was selected to the Non-Public All-State Second Team and the Shore Conference Second Team.
