Well another season that was to be but wasn't. I'm actually kind of glad this season is over for the fact is that the players who worked hard don't have to suffer with the players who didn't. The season started out woth a 4-1 record which was good but like the past 3 years The Rams hit the wall after Christmas and never recovered. A.J. Warren was the leading scorer and he started in 10 games? He probably could have averaged 10 or more points a game if he started the full season. Zach Patton had another solid season within his style of basketball. T.J. Harkness 18 % from 3 'nuff said. Chris Weikert......I could write a book about him or maybe even a Hollywood movie what a dissapointment. Matt Smith was good at being a Point Guard. Garrett Hutslar the saddest thing of the year. A talent who never got the chance to be what he could have been. Devin Lankford good player who at the end of the season did what he had to do. Now onto next season from seeing what I have seen this year next year might be or will be better. In fact it might be back to Paoli Basketball just a little. In my opinion A starting 5 of Warner, Goodman, Andry, Crecelius, and Lankford a bench of Evans, Duke, Long, Kee, and Ben White add in some freshmen from this past year....haven't seen this years 8th grade in a few years so I can't say who goes on varsity or j.v.....If those kids go in over the summer and work at getting better they will be better. Next year's team has a couple more shooters and a couple of kids who will crash the boards. And unlike this year they may actually be an overall better rebounding team. It oculd be the start of some more fun times ofr Paoli Basketball.
