| ryno using any bat is a better idea cause you will have the guys get in with the ultra who cant hit homers and the guys like u and campbell who can hit them out with a supercell will be ok also . hows that shved crush you got . just kidding . but we wnt as many people as possible.

| Artie I think it is safe to say that if you cannot hit a HR with a legit bat then you should not be in a HR derby. I don't own an Ultra or any illegal bats so I am now at a disadvantage to the 140 pound bench warmer who has an Ultra II. I think guys like Campbell and other heavy hitters would agree. Unless of course someone lets me borrow their 30oz Ultra II then I will guarantee victory.

| I have to agree with Ryno, I haven't hit a single dinger all year (not that I try, I go for a basehit and let the other guy knock me in) but when I swing the Ultra I can put it out with pretty frequently, it definately gives an advantage to those guys like me who don't hit the tater, it should be reserved for the guys like Ryno who can do it with legal bats.

| Me....in a home run derby, surely you jest. Maybe if I get the rest of you guys totally shit faced drunk where you can't even stand up I might have a slim shot, and even then I'd be totally out of my element.

| You could always do legal bats with higher compression balls. But I like the idea of getting more people in the derby. People that wouldn't normally be in it. Im sure people will loan out their illegal bats to the guys that can hit home runs with a table leg. I'll let you borrow my ultra II ryno, ya just gotta promise to hit left handed with it.

| Hitting lefthanded I would only make the semi finals. I could win it and pay a finders fee to the gentleman that let me hit righthanded with an Ultra.

| You can totally use my ultra. You just have to promise not to break it over your knee if you get mad. I've seen you flatten softballs on the ground in frustration before. Its in great shape though. I only use it when im taking infield practice. Blue dots scream off that thing, I love it.

| I'd love to get the Pub into the Tourney, I ran it by the guys and they seemed interested, but alot of guys work up at the ACI and we all won't be able to get both days off....so it is up in the air right now.
