| just want to thank cm for a couple great games and the 250 beers we drank at the vfw . both games could have went either way but we go lucky in the seventh. this was our first title in 30 years . it was also a special day for us because it would have been jay campbells dads birthday and he was on the team the last time the vfw won 30 yearsw ago .jays dad passed away last year. a big thanks to all the guys especially sean lucawizc who was a vacum in left ,tommy d first bhomer of the year is a three run bomb to tie it , jay fernandes triple mexican stle t o put us in the mix and jay johnstone (the silent assasin ) i never had a doubt you would come through in that spot . all the other clowns you did your part to aj costa the beast was loose again in coventry , ernie wright doing a kent herbek imatation , gary tiberi dazzling the crowd at short , dan godin taking a linebacker hit and then starting the rally ,

| great job arty,didnt know it was jays dads birthday,Im sure it makes it all the more special for you guys.Two great games and your stellar defense is what won you the title.Im looking forward to playing ball in Vegas with the team we are bringing,especially that shortstop,what a day he had.I will say this,I probably will never get put on intentionally ever again in my life but i guess walking the smallest guy on the team payed off in the end,your lucky cause i had about 5 more bombs in the bag right over your head.Great day of fun and you guys are a very classy team,still would of loved to kick your ass though,next year

| Congrats Artie. You guys are always a class act and I called it from the beginning that youwere the team to beat especially with Gary on board. Good luck in Vegas, I wish I could get out there with you but hopefully next year we can hook up and play in some tourneys. Congrats to CM nobody gave you guys a chance when we lost so many players. I wish I was there all season to play especially with Demonti. Mike I heard you really picked up the game fast and are already a force in the league. Congrats again to everyone.

| hey Knight,the feeling is mutual,I wish we could play together just like the old days chewing tobacco on the bus ride to a varsity game at hendricken or some other hell hole with perras.lots of laughs and fun times were had every time we were on the field. we really missed you on the field and your bat was sorely missed as well.Next year i hope we can play in some tournys together and thanks for the compliments I guess my baseball dreams are finally over,my place is on the softball field.I'll be in the tampa area for thanksgiving weekend,your probably coming up here though but if not we'll have 2 get in touch.

| Hey Knight i'm flyind out the wednesday before turkey day and staying at my house in sprighill its north on 19 about 50 miles north of st.pete in hernando county just north of pasco county where all the booby bars are.we'll definately have to get in touch.I'll give you a call if i make it back from vegas,ha ha ha

| Damn! Damn! Artie and VFW, congrats! I really respect the fact the Stewart was on the team 30 years ago when they one last. He was a good man who always treated me well. Congrats Jay and the VFW crew.

| Never got around to thanking CM for 2 great games in the Finals, so here goes... Way to go guys, it was a great way to cap off the year, both games came right down to the end, unfortunately someone had to lose, (luckily for my team... it was you). I am sure you will be headed right back to the finals next year, where hopefully we can play for the Championship again.
