| if you have the gear and are of a resonalble standard i.e (can skate and have played before) then yeah i dont see why not.
the only problem is we do not have the time to teach as we are a semi compeditive team.

| Sorted, I used to be competative myself once, I have a good friend of my Tam Gordon who would also like to come along as well. we should still have all the gear so will see you there, When you say semi-competative ? does that mean you guys go at it hard our are you just havin fun ?

| We are a Recreational Ice Hockey Club. That means we 'pay to play'. The main idea is to have fun but at the same time we train hard so that we can be competative and at a comparable standard with the other 28 teams in the Scottish Recreational Ice hockey Conference (SRIHC. We play in national and local tournaments and also friendly and challenge matches. If you can skate - forwards and backwards, and can move, pass and receive a puck, all with acceptable ability, then you should come along and let us see you in action. You are permitted one uninsured training session then everyone has to make up their minds and registrations completed before you can ice again. At the moment we train at the Galleon Centre in Kilmarnock at 10.45pm on a Thursday, however we are moving to the Braehead Arena in February.

| It is £35.00 to join the club. That covers your registration and insurance and you have to provide two(2) pasport photographs of yourself. At the moment, it is £10.00 per training session. If you intend to come next week, keep a watch on this website to make sure that it is still on.

| Guys, can I just clarify the rules, as agreed at the September meeting of the SIHRC,are:
1 - For SNL & under 19s Players dropping down to Reccy:
They have to transfer by 30th November 2006 to be eligible to play in the Scottish Cup or Plate competitions.
They have to transfer by 31st December to be eligible to play in any Reccy match.
If they transfer after 31/12/06, they cannot play in any Reccy matches but, they can train.
2 – Reccy Players registering for the 1st time this season: . Reccy Players can register throughout the season, but they must register by 31st January 2007 to be eligible to play in the Scottish Cup/Plate
3 – Reccy Players Transferring to another Club:
If a Reccy Player has played in a Cup/Plate play-off match, prior to his/her transfer, he/she is Cup/Plate tied and cannot play in any Cup/Plate game, play-off or finals, with his/her new team. They can play challenge and friendly matches and any local tournaments.

| Yes, but due to low number attendance at Kilmarnock, we have cancelled our session on a Thursday and will just be relying on what games we can get to keep us going until Braehead.

| Bastion, this Saturday, we start at our new venue - Braehead Arena. Because it is the 1st week we are restricting it to existing club members and specific invited guests. Therefore, could you hold off coming until Saturday 17th Feb. - You should target 7.00am for arrival, to be on the ice at 7.20, start training at 7.30am
