| Artie you guys proved me wrong! It was the first time I saw you guys play. A very solid team offensively and defensively. Nice hitting both timely and power wise. I can see why Mertog says you guys are the team to beat. Hopefully we can make it closer next time.

| Hey smit that was 2 good games we played!! If it wasn't for that guy getting ejected it would of been alot more enjoyable to play. But with him mouthing off to the ump like that i'm glad he got tossed,esp. because most of us have our children there watching the game and hearing that crap come out of his mouth is just pitifull. Anyway who ever said your team was going to run rule is was def. wrong!! Hope to play you guys in the playoffs. Have a good rest of the season.

| Crowe took 2 from A+. The second game was a massacre. Crowe scored 22 in the first inning with no outs. I had whiplash from watching the blasts. After they scored 15, the third base coach/asshole said I'm just gunna keep sending them. Sportsmanship at it's best!

| I think I might have opened a can of worms here. Fat Dave got himself caught in a bang bang play at the plate. The runner was kind of stuck between a shit and a fart and didn't have time to slide...and he didn't. Dave went down but sort of took it like a man...i guess. The real fun started when the guy didn't get called out for not sliding!

| Ian, shouldn't you be teaching? Do you have your students working on an in-class project of doing to CMSL statistics? I have read some of your letters of recommendation- you could write something convincing enough to get softball stats put in the english curriculum.

| There were hankies involved! In response to the other posts- I am a very good friend of the guy who got tossed for swearing and I wish he hadn't done it. Partially because it forced my fat ass into the field, but mostly because kids don't need to hear that. I think that if you asked him he would agree that, although he did want the ump to go fuck himself, he wishes that he hadn't told him to do so in front of kids. To "Big Guy" who I assume is a teammate, man-up and put your fucking name on the post! Nameless posting is for "little guys".

Well I do tend to try and get Mertog fired up at times cause we all know how much of a whackjob he can be! I got nothing but love for you all man nothing but love! Although I am still having nightmares of Ryno! Sorry Ryno I was wrong about saying using an Ultra against your kneecaps, I meant the TC22 Titanium or whatever it is called. Here is the plan, Coz is gonna slide at you and as you jump to avoid the slide, Mertog is going to do an ultimate fighting superkick or whatever he thinks he can do seeing his body is made of glass. Then and only then I think we could get you down.Like a typical scared little bitch that I am when we actually do get you down, I will come running over and clean up the mess lol.

| Made of glass? I had a 25 foot ladder kick out from under me, hit my head on some steel fencing, and had my face fall into a bucket of paint. I got up and finished the job. I sprained my ankles, cracked a rib and had a small concussion...but I got up and finished the job before going to the hospital. Then I played softball sunday! I should be on that show..."I should be Dead" And mind you....I didn't take anytime out of work! I'm like Sally O'Mally...I'm 50 and I kick....stretch....and Kick! I'm 50 !

| Just want to say that my third base coach said that after some punk ass was bitching about how bad his team is and was getting frustrated...sorry Mark but that happened to me 3 years ago in my first year in the league. Get over it. That's how the league is. There isn't one team that's been in this league that hasn't been on both sides of that coin. Sportsmanship at it's finest...not when it comes to some of the guys on your team. Except the boys who came back to Crowe Bar with us after the game.

| Every team HAS been through it. It takes a long time to put together a decent team. When you're getting your head kicked in week after week it does get frustrating and you start getting pissed off about every little thing. The only thing you can do is just go out and do the best you can with what you have and have fun. All the guys in this league are pretty decent guys and will help you out. We went through this just two years ago. We didn't win a single game all year. We kept it together and kept plugging and gradually things got better and better. Now we are a pretty decent little team, and eventually if you use the exemption rule and use ALL the exempt players you are allowed, you will get better. The key is to get to know people who play in other leagues and see if they are interested in playing in Coventry and offer them a spot. Start grabbing guys you know play ball during the fall and get ready for the next season. It will get better.

| FAT DAVE HERE... Just wanted to clear something up. I DID NOT post the "BIG-GUY" post. I didn't know about the post till this morning when some other players asked me about it. The player involved in the play and I shook hands after the game and I have no problem with him or anyone else on del-padres.....
