| Pub took two off a very game Farm Dog this week,
18-5 and 21-10. I did not realize that "Farm Dog" was one of Bobby Bothelo's teams...they look like a pretty decent little team and hit the ball very well. Nice job Farm Dog!

| Village Pub hit like crap this weekend. Mertog your guys better start taking BP!!! I am like the little guy and del we are looking to play for other teams mertog is playing favorites!

| Farm dog lost twice to The Thundering Pub...they hit and hit and hit..and walked and walked and walked..( sorry about that guys ..I'll throw more strikes next time )..I dont know who is beating these guys. And for the record, Pendola surprisingly doesnt totally suck..seriously. We cant take all of the Summer Pub castoffs but we'll keep Pendola.

| Pendola is a good little player. He is always getting hits......not flashy or loud but just plain solid. He is a lot better than that Carlo guy the Pub is hiding at second base.

| hey m.c.b. i was told this week by the ringer that i'm a total player hide me anywhere i do nothing but hit in that 9 hole even though I hit behind a guy who made a all world team just to protect that has been.

| Managing a team absolutely sucks....it entails doing all the little dirty jobs that no one else wants to do.
Like trying to stroke guy's ego's and other things that we will not mention at this point.
In addition trying to keep up the website while "The Wife" grows increasingly pissed.
Not to mention guys crying about playing time or how many guys I have on the roster, which they assume means they won't be starting every game. This in turn mysteriously translates into me trying to dump them off the team and replace them. (Which I might add was not the motivation behing me bringing in more players, but simply to ensure we had enough each week)
Lets not forget the various forms of temper tantrums that I have seen over the years.
To be quite honest my ass is quite sore!
And I wonder to myself...what is the difference in sitting the bench for the Pub or sitting the bench for Farm Dog? I'll have to ask Pendola for the answer to that one!
But I have to admit, I had more fun this weekend than I have had in a very long time. I have a bunch of great guys on the team, all whom are unselfish and are willing to sit for one another, and all whom are just a pleasure to be around. They know the game and show up early and ready to go so I don't have to stress myself out wondering who I'm going to play or if I have enough guys to play at all. I can actually make out my lineup the night before and know I can count on them. This is a first for me! It is a pleasure to have these guys on the team and I'm fortunate to have them.
So I have absolutely nothing to bitch about this week!

| Del Padre and Eaton split. Eaton won the first by dramatic fashion (4 runs in the 7th) and lost the second game. I don't remember any scores but someone will send them along.

| M.C.B....uhmm, I love Pendola, hes a great guy...love him..but, come on, that Carlo guy mashes the ball. inch4inch , he is the best hitter in the league. Hes a little chubby so he cant be lb4lb. But hes short so he can be inch4inch.

| Bobby, they both have the same physical characteristics...short and chubby...but that is where the simalarities end. You should see Carlo play power forward in basketball...you'll sit there and say to yourself...How the fuck does he do that? Like a mini Charles Barkley.

| i know jr's won first game was maybe by 5 or 6 second was a run rule and for crowe / sunset sunset made a miraculous comeback scoring like 7 or 8 unanswered to take the first game but then dropped the second i dont know any scores tho i tried remembering but i went to the bar afterwards and all the info in my ehad went out the window once the first beer got into my system

| lb4lb...you are right Carlo might be the best player inch for inch in this league, but where are you measuring. foot to head or waistline! Either way he is pretty good. I played with him when he was second team All-World in the ASA Nationals back in the late 90's down in Florida. That was back when he was a skinny kid. Now a few hits of D-Bol and a little Winstrol, and he is benching 465 and making gay porns......how times have changed!
