| Sorry Smitty I wasn't done Ex. Patriot, crowe and us tie- we would be 4-0 combined vs. both teams during the regular season so why wouldn't we be in? Just trying to understand before the last week of the season. Thanks

| If more than one team is tied for the eighth spot, I believe in the past the team with the best combined record was in and the other two had the play-in game. I think I remember this happening a few years ago and that was how we solved it, but I have to check with others.
but if the multi-team tie is just for seeding and all the teams are in the playoffs it is just picking numbers.

| sorry for the drunk post its jacksons fault !!!hahaha !!! the bylaws say this . In the event of a tie for eighth place, a one (1) game play-off will decide eighth place, to be played prior to play-off games. For a tie in any other position, head-to-head record will determine position. If teams in question split, a coin flip will determine top spot.
if there is a three way tie its head to head between the three for 7th. 8th is decides by a play in game with the other two. 3 way draw is what we have done in the past when we had a 3 team tie with all three spliting bc its hard to do a 3 way coin flip.
