| As I predicted Moe's and their #1 lost to AF and their #2.......12-5 was not even close for the Skyline #1 against SP #2
Now Stillwater gets a solid Shamrock club with a legit ace so we will see how that turns out.
Sky Line right now is 1-2, if Shammies beat Stillwater then it is 1-3.
Moe's gets Blank and Wesley so they very well could be two and out that would be 1-4.
Stockmens gets Pub.......1-5 perhaps
and if Stillwater looses to the Shammies they play the looser of Edge and Park.
Very realistic that the Skyline could go 1-6 in the tourney.

| trecick.....no pat on my back needed.
I just type fast, contribute to the forum for better or worse and more often then not work my stuff off of what others type/start.
With that being said my club lost tonight so I am prepared to take my type written beatings here on the forum

| Yes Edge won....they were down 8-3 going into the top half of the 9th and put up 7.
Park had two guys on in the bottom half of the 9th when the game ended.
Edge 10 Park 8

| Park threw Gabe for 8.....the 55 minute delay started with Edge batting and two outs in the 5th I beleive.
Gabe came back out and looked good the rest of the way he was in there.
Edge threw a lefty that was solid and then brought in a taller righty that was solid as well.
Heaslip and Jesse Eikum threw the three/five outs in the ninth for Park.

| Does Park consider Gabe better than Wright? How did Edge score 7 runs in the 9th?

| Personally I could not pick between Wright and Gabe as the only difference would perhaps come down to match ups. They are both very difficult to run on...
.....they are different styles but both of them are top ten pitchers in the entire state so I don't think it really matters.
The seven runs in the 9th were a combination of a few things and in no particular order in my opinion they were as follows
Pitching from behind a bit
A real tight zone (no excuses as it had been that way and the same for the entire game)
Two infield errors
Two 0-2 well hit balls
A HBP and BB to start the top half of the ninth And last but perhaps not least the speed and fundamental base running ability of Edge's base runners dictated that they scored two runs on a couple balls that a lot of guys would not have been able to score on

| moes was winning 4-2 when their #1 was taken out. if you weren't there, AF scored 10 runs in the last 3 innings when moes bullpen took over... so clearly their starter had nothing to do with the mess.

| Maybe not so crazy, we slept on Moes and they beat us hands down even with 10 walks. They have some good hitters, play great D and compete hard. All depends on what they bring to the mound with there #3 arm.
