| I have a hard time believing we are going to be on the ice for 8pm if there is an Elite game on in Edinburgh. We have never been on the ice before 10pm before!!
Also - since when have we had to pay to get in to the caps game?! we usually just rock up :)

| In the past, when we have played an Ed. team at Ed., on a Sunday night we have gone onto the ice after the Caps game - usually around 8.30!
The recent policy at Murreyfield - operated last season, is that reccy teams arriving for a game don't get in until the Caps game is over unless they wish to pay for a ticket! Security staff, at the door excersise this policy religously.

Caps game starts at 6.00 pm, Lasts 2 hours till 8,00 pm, ice cut - on ice for 8.30!

| Murryfield was always tight fisted about letting people in early, I remember back in my junior hockey days they wouldnt let us in to do the toilet unless we payed for a ticket! The whole team just lined up against the wall outside and left our names dripping down the side of the building! )

Just driven to Fife along M8. . .
Contraflow is 2miles long and speed drops to 40 but there's no worries there. Just leave 15mins early and you will be fine.

| Score was 3-2 to us after 2 periods, abandoned it there as they ran out of ice time and Donnie bust his ankle. Got carried off, but paramedics didnt take him to hospital in edinburgh as there was nothing broken. Going to get x-ray back through here, so waiting to hear how he is.

I remember breaking my ankle when I was 14 and had just started playing hockey ... it was killer not being able to skate.
