| Just back myself with Stevie G & Murdy, went down to scout it out for tomorrow. It's pretty decent at the part they've cleared - was a bit dark though!
Apparently a few people going down for half 9 to help brush it up a bit.
I'm heading down, prepared for a whole day.

| The lake of monteith in Drymen is also frozen over and has no snow on it at all. You will need orange puck as the ice is so black its hard to see. 15 miles from stirling heading out the back road to Bearsden.
There could be games there .
Dont tell! Bull shit Mr Hand, you came straight out of a comic book

| That is an embarassing piece of journalism.
I really feel like phoning the Paisley Depressed about that, what a lot of shite.

| It was well tested by the hockey lads at the weekend, there were several of your finest beer league athletes sharing only a few metres square of ice and it was safe from all reports.

| Hey Guys, I'm not familiar with how to get to the exact spot where you are all havin' a great time. Can someone give me directions! I know that you turn right off the A737 at the Roadhead Roundabout, onto the A760 but where exactly do I meet up with you guys?

| Take the A737 to the roundabout and take a right (signposted Lochwinnoch & Castle Semple)
Go down that road about half a mile, taking the second right over a wee stone bridge. It's signposted Castle Semple Sports/Visitor Centre or something (the first right is the RSPB Visitor Centre, so don't take that)
Go along that road and you'll come to a junction where the road bears round to the left, take the right there (basically going straight on). There's a very similar junction just along that road and you do the same there - that's you at the Loch side where we all park.
Hopefully that's clear enough. Have fun!

| Mack, haven't been able to get down to Martin Shields factoy due to snowed up icey roads. I could do a temporary repair with tiny screws and nuts - It worked for Iain Mullen! If not, you better take your spares.
