Lads,
What can I say, we left it all out on the ice today. Take comfort in the class you displayed when opposed to such a lack thereof. Be thankful for the teammates that donated their time to the prospect of a Championship. Most of all, be thankful for a great group of guys who came together at the climax of the season. I wouldn't have done it any other way.

I'm proud to call you all my friends.
-J

Great effort from everyone involved. We can look back and think "what if..." but we should just look back and be pleased with how we played.

Well done guys, we all worked hard as a team.
To all the guys that are feeling bad, its a team game, so we stand with the disappointment together, we can be proud of what we achieved, and it was great to here other teams talking about us.
Wishy, Great job in getting the team to where we are now. I can see a lot of improvment since I've been back. Looking forward to next year already!

I gladly join in this thread of worthy applause. The Paisley Panthers are now a team to be reconned with - We band of Brothers came to the show and entered the spotlight, giving one of the best, if not THEE best (game two), performances of all (and I saw both semi-finals and the final).
I came to the Panthers some years ago, probably when they were at their lowest ebb and I have enjoyed being part of the developing process from that point to the grand outcome of this week-ends efforts. I cannot overlook the major contribution of one J.T Levy who came to us and has given us 110% every time he stepped on the ice with a Panther's jersey on. Multple, but humble, thanks to you Jordan. You made a major contibution to building that all important factor - team morale.
However, that does not overshaddow the fact that, down the years the rest of you guys, have had a potential that just took the right combination of conditions to bring it to the fore! Close to the top of those is a Coach who you all admire and respect who knows how to find your potential and hoane it to it's sharpest point - well done Wishy...you're the Daddy!
There was no player, in any other team, who played better than you guys - the bobbling puck just didn't fall right for us at some points. If it had and we were the ones in the final with the 'Lightning'.....well who knows!!
Let's now just look to the future and anchor down the level of excellence and high spirit that we have achieved!

Guys,
It was a hard thing for me to have to stand at the side and watch the games. But I was standing at the side last year aswell and to be honest the team has improved big time since last year. And it all goes down to the coaching from Wishy, he helped us all get a better understanding of the plays we should be trying to make during the games instead of just chasing after the puck all the time.
We have gone from strength to strength this year and even tho I missed my chance to play in the plate, I can say I'm glad I was apart of this team from the start of the session. Can't wait till next session and ronnie I promise I won't be playing football anytime before another tourny :P

Forgot to say as well - cheers to Smithy and Jimmer for coming through on the Saturday. That's the kind of team spirit we want to see, boys coming to support when they are injured. Gives the boys on the ice a big boost to see them there.

Cheers lads
