| As Requested, a new thread ...
I'll make training at Killie when I can, but as I said, we run a club night on Tuesdays and there's only 2 of us in the department who can supervise them so there's times where I NEED to work.
I'll be there tomorrow though!

| Geo, Kilmarnock has to be over and above the summer fees paid to the Panthers accounts. The facility to pay those summer fees is to give club members a way of spreading the manatory annual fee of £504 over as long a time period as possible. All that money paid in is accounted for during the Panthers normal season. If we use it for Kilmarnock, as I said before, it would create a shortfall in the coming season.
I foresee an indepth discussion on this matter at the coming AGM.

Needs 18 skaters paying £10 a head every week to break even.
If there are not enough people showing up to cover the cost then there are 2 options -
1. Increase the cost per player (don't want to do that - puts people off coming)
2. Try to cancel it. (hard when you have signed a contract/lease)
It's running at a slight loss to date, last week really helped to recover the situation as it was reaching the point where it was at risk of being cancelled due to poor attendance/commitment.
People neeed to appreciate that someone has to put their name to the contract/lease to hire the ice.

| Only 17 skaters last night, Only 1 from the Panthers attended and had to leave, Michael Daly was there, was waiting on Ronnie coming with is skates but he left, no skates, thanks to the guys from the chiefs for coming down, but as mr Blackhawk says, we need 18 to break even, 26 last week

| Ok Guys, the ability to keep the Tuesday session at Kilmarnock going is hanging in the balance - There is not enough people attending on a regular basis.
As was stated before, club accounts cannot be expected to absorb any shortfall in the cost of this EXTRA summer ice when numbers are low. To do so buggers up budgets and finances for the new season.
If we get the right numbers e.g. enough for 2 lines per side, in a skrimmage + goalies, then it can be kept going. If there is less than that then it will be terminated - This Tuesday, 1st June, will be the test case. If you are anxious to keep fit through the summer drag your arse along, ok!
