| It depends on the district and their format. I believe that every district is adopting the top 4 structure ( District 15 and 16 are doing it.) From there, the district champion and runner up move on to Regional.
GMAC is different. If you are on top of your district and you are a public school you are in, the other 3 are the best teams with best 2nd record in their group GMAC groups.
