Some extensive and expensive work was done today to the Major League Infield, Mound and Home Plate, as well as new sod planted in the outfield and infield.
The field is now CLOSED until the March Tryouts, weather permitting. Otherwise it will remain closed until the Tag 'em Tournament on the first weekend in April. NO ONE SHOULD ATTEMPT TO USE THE MAJOR FIELD FOR ANY TYPE OF PRACTICES UNTIL WE REOPEN THE FIELD.
Also, there will be additional work done to ALL of the other fields this week and they will also be closed until further notice. Any need for practicing should be done at Bartley or indoors. Anyone attempting to use the fields for the remainder of the week will be asked to leave.
