| ON SATURDAY FEBRUARY 1ST, WE WILL BEGIN PRACTICE SESSIONS FOR BASEBALL PLAYERS 9 - 12 WHO WILL PLAY IN THE MINOR AAA OR MAJORS IN 2014 AND WHO ARE SCHEDULED TO TRYOUT FOR THOSE DIVISIONS ON MARCH 8TH. MORE INFO AS TO TIMES AND DATES WILL FOLLOW. TO PARTICIPATE, YOUR SON MUST BE REGISTERED AND HAVE A TRYOUT # FOR HIS AGE.

| Eric, there probably will not be any formal practice sessions for the Juniors until March. And only Registered Players will be allowed to practice for the Juniors also.

| Anthony, if your son is a LEAGUE AGE 9 - 12 YR OLD he will be attending tryouts on Sat March 8th. If he falls within that category, you would have been given a tryout number that identifies the Group and Time he is to report. If you mailed in the registration, we would have mailed the info back to you along with your raffle book and work bond info. If your son is younger than 9 or older than 12, then this does NOT apply to him. If he is already on a Major League Team since Spring 2013, it also does not apply. If your son is a League 9-12 yr old and you did not receive a Tryout # for March 8th, please email me your sons name and info to adelvec354@aol.com. The PRACTICE SESSIONS that begin on SAT FEB 1st are NOT THE TRYOUTS!! They are an opportunity for the players to get some practice time in for the month prior to the tryout so they don't come in "cold" from the long winter. The practices are optional and only there for those who wish to attend. But in order to attend, the player MUST BE REGISTERED. Hope this answers any concerns. PLAYERS ON THE TRYOUT LISTS WILL BE RECEIVING EMAILS TODAY WITH MORE INFO FOR THE PRACTICE SESSIONS.

| HOLBROOK will be holding PRACTICES for the next 5 Saturday's for the 9 thru 12yr olds who are scheduled for the BASEBALL TRYOUTS on Saturday March 8th. The practices are not mandatory but will serve as an opportunity for these boys to get some practices in and prepare for the tryouts. It will also serve as a good opportunity for the managers and coaches to observe these players over an extended period and not just 10 minutes on March 8th. Times may vary from week to week and you will be informed prior to each session when you can participate.
E-Mails have been sent to all of the Players who are Registered and have a TRYOUT #. If you have registered, received a tryout #, but did not get an email, it is possible that your email address was missing or unreadable on your son's registration. Please email me directly at adelvec354@aol.com or holbrook baseballsoftball@gmail.com for more info.
Please understand, no one is obligated to attend these practices. These are optional and up to you to attend one, all or none of the sessions. If you do not attend, it will have NO affect on your son's tryout and where he is drafted.
If you can take advantage of these sessions we ask that you please arrive 10 minutes before your time slot. Please bring your own bats and helmets if you have them. No cleats in the Fieldhouse, only sneakers. No food, gum, seeds or drinks other than water. As space will be limited and we will be rushed to get everyone some time in the cages we ask that you do not bring siblings to watch. This week Feb 1st we are blocking the 9am - 10:30 time slot for 11 & 12yr olds, the 10:30 - 12:30 slot for 10yr olds, and 12:30 - 2:30pm for the 9yr olds. Please check your emails to see what time your son is scheduled to arrive as each of the age groups are split into 2 sessions.
All Major and AAA Managers & Coaches are asked to participate and help run these practice sessions. If you are interested and available, please arrive a half-hour before the session you want to help with.
