| On Friday night, the Holbrook & Jackson LL 12's treated a standing room only crowd to 6 of the best innings of Little League baseball you could ever watch!! Jackson jumped out to a 6-1 lead in the third inning scoring 5 runs, the big blow a 3 run homer by Braden Kukan!! Holbrook tied it in their half of the third with 5 of their own, behind a 3run Connor Keenan home run, and solo shots from Andrew Sefick and Nick DeCarlo. Keenan & Sefick went back-to-back. Holbrook took a 10-6 lead in the 4th with 4 more runs, including a 2 out 2 run hit from Kevin Ritz. Jackson cut the lead to 10 -8 in the 5th on back-to-back HomeRuns by Gavin Maarberg and Chance Drew!! The see-saw battle was then tied at 10-10 in the top of the 6th when Maarberg hit his 2nd homer of the game: a 2 out, 2 strike, 2 run HomeRun deep over the left centerfield fence to quiet the home crowd!! But the Holbrook bats would NOT be quited as Ritz ended the game with a walk-off homerun, blasted into the night sky leading off the bottom of the 6th, to give Holbrook an 11-10 win!! Both teams advance out of pool play, and will be in action on Sunday with Holbrook the #1 seed and Jackson # 2. These 2 teams may get to thrill us again before the District games are done!!
