| Why is Reagan #4 when the beat American to start the year and also have a much harder district than both the 2nd and 3rd place teams? Would love to hear the reasoning behind that. If Doral can be number 2 why isn't Hillel in the top ten?? They also have a weak district and haven't lost. You can't just throw people on there because they're first in there district. Reagan is at the top of probably the hardest district in GMAC. Yet are behind a team they beat and a 3A school..

| Reagan will be able to move up if they play and beat Doral Academy this week or if instead they play an do well in the GMAC.

| Doesn't answer the question of why they are behind them now.

| I believe that you answered your own question. Reagan defeated American 2-0 during PRESEASON and as you know preseason does not officially count. Since then, American managed to defeat every team in their schedule within the county. Meanwhile Reagan lost to Coral Gables...a team that lost to Coral Park, a team that won't make the playoffs. As far as Doral, they don't play just teams from their district, they have faced some very good opponents and their only loss was to Gulliver. What is the difference between #2, 3#, and #4....probably not much. The best public school teams plus Columbus are going to GMAC and most likely, not even that tourney will provide us with the answer as to which team is better, only the playoffs will.

| As far as Hillel, their schedule is a bit feeble with only one very good team in it and they were not able to defeat them. Gulliver at least played Doral and Coral Reef and we understand that is not Hillel's fault to just play those teams but every team has flexibility as to which teams they schedule in April.

| Do your homework before you degrade another them "FLORIDASCORES". Coral Gables isn't #2 in the hardest district in Miami because of goal differential. That mighty Reagan team couldn't beat Coral Gables in the both games they played with a win for Gables and a tie (which Reagan played at home). Also, Coral Gables only lost twice this entire season, once to the defending state champs and a hiccup against Coral Park. Before you degrade a team and take them out of the top ten, look into them a little deeper. And stay tuned because the semi-final against Columbus is guaranteed to be a great matchup.

| Once again rankings do not mean anything, we just do them for two reasons. Recognition and to have some fun since we don't get much publicity anywhere else like football does. But just to let you know, goal differential is not a tie breaker in high school soccer. The first tie breaker is head to head encounters, Columbus won and tied Gables once and that was all Columbus needed to be the 2nd seed. The 2nd tie breaker would be how you did against the highest seeded team within your district and so on and on. Gables is a good team and they always had good teams in the past, since they haven't played any team outside their district, except for NMB, it will be hard for me to comment any further, so sure I may be limited and wrong in my assessment of the Cavaliers.
