| If anyone is curious as to why the Minor AAA scorebooth/shed will be locked and closed for the playoffs, take a look at the photos on our facebook page.. This total disregard and disrepect for private property is unacceptable. This booth was opened for the use of the AAA games to keep score. Leaving trash, throwing boxes around and leaving the American Flag Banners thrown on the floor is not normal behavior, and beyond my comprehension. If this is the way your children leave their rooms, and your homes, I feel sorry for you. If they don't, they had better not do it at Holbrook anymore. We have been tolerant of the vandalism, theft, disgraceful ways that the bathrooms and batting cages are left, but this is pretty much the last straw. The Holbrook facilities are there for the benefit of YOUR children. The Board should not have to police bad behavior and I for one am DONE cleaning up after the pigs (kids & adults) that just don't care. The Major League booth will also remain closed until the AAA Finals and All-Stars when only adults will be inside. Any players found vandalizing any part of the Holbrook complex, will be suspended on site regardless of time of the year, all-star status, etc, and faced with a permanent ban if the infraction is serious enough.(If you haven't already noticed, check out the red railing near the side entrance to the building where someone obviously hit it repeatedly with a bat and dented it, or the plexiglass on the new information kiosk that had rocks thrown through it... I could go on and on, but hopefully you all get the point). I'm sorry that the actions of a few are ruining things for everyone else. But at this point, we have no choice, but to start shutting things down and limiting access. Tony D.
