| The Holbrook Intermediate -50/70 District All-Stars fought back from 5-0 and 7-3 deficits to beat Brick 8-7 today at Brick LL.
Alex Furlong hit a 3 run homer in the 3rd inning to start the comeback. Lucas Strong hit a ball off the fence in the 4th that would have tied the game at 6, but runners had to hold and Holbrook left the bases loaded and lost a golden opportunity to cut into the 6-3 deficit. Jimmy Harley with a long solo shot in the 5th, made the game 7-4, and set the stage for the win!! Fighting back against a tough pitcher, the boys tied the game with no outs and with bases loaded, Lucas Strong ripped a base hit up the middle, past a drawn in infield for the walk-off hit!! Great comeback for the boys as they advance into the winners bracket on Monday at Lacey LL. Come out and support our boys!! Good Luck on Monday!!
