| Our District 18 CFBL Season came to an end this weekend. Holbrook had 7 teams entered in 6 different Divisions this Fall. All of our teams represented themselves and Holbrook proudly!! Most of our teams "played up", meaning they played older teams from the other leagues. Obviously, in some cases that put them at a disadvantage but they all came ready to play every game. Win or lose they challenged each other and will be better prepared for the Spring season because of their involvement with the CFBL in the Fall. Our two "oldest" teams, the 14U Thunder & Manager Gene Daddio, Coaches Allison Furlong & Vinny Piccioto and the 13U Outlaws & Manager Mike Kinsman, Coaches Gene Barth & Bob Brown were eliminated in the Semi-Finals against older and much more experienced teams. Our 13U Intermediate - American MIT Team had a learning season playing on a bigger field for the first time, but Manager RJ McCann and coach Scott Ricci had their boys ready to play every game and also were eliminated in the semi-finals on Saturday. Thanks to all the Coaches, Players and Parents for a great Fall Season. Our Intermediate & Junior Divisions are looking bright for Spring 2016!!
