| McAuliffe Softball Team Wins the Ocean County Middle School Blue Division Championship!!
McAuliffe Middle School defeated Barnegat 5-3 in a back and forth game today to win the Ocean County Middle School Blue Division Championship.
Ashley Tavaska pitched 7 innings and outlasted her opponent in a pitchers duel that ran into the top of the 6th when McAuliffe tied after trailing 3-2. In the 7th, the McAuliffe bats came alive and they added two insurance runs followed by a 1-2-3 inning for the Championship!
The Lions finished their season 11-1, with their only loss coming to the 2nd place Lacey Lions.

ALEXA MARCHISOTTO, JULIANNA MARTIN.
Most of the girls have played or still play for Holbrook LL & Wildcat Softball and we are very proud of their accomplishment!!
