| OPENING DAY CEREMONY will be delayed until April 22nd at 10AM. We are taking this measure to give teams more time to get ready for games, and for families to enjoy the upcoming Spring Break without missing anything. AND to hope for better weather.
On Saturday April 1st, the Major League Baseball Division will start playing. Those schedules will be in the Managers hands tonight.
All other divisions will be able to utilize this weekend for practices, meet & greets and getting ready for the season.
The younger non-competitive divisions, Tball, Minor A, Minor AA, Farm Softball & Minor Softball managers are encouraged to reserve time indoors in the batting cages for weather proof practices over the next 2 weeks and into Spring Break. Those batting cages and our Fieldhouse was built for ALL our players, and should be utilized fairly.
On Friday April 7th, we will once again start our "GIRLS NIGHT OUT FOR SOFTBALL", as our Softball teams get to play on the Holbrook Fields every Friday night in the Spring season.
On Saturday April 8th, ALL Divisions, EXCEPT the Major Baseball Division will start playing games. Those schedules will be in managers hands in a few days. Our Junior Teams will also start play that weekend with away games.
Holbrook will be hosting a fund raising Tournament that Saturday with the Major Field & Senior Fields being utilized.
Managers & coaches in all divisions will be informed this week as to when they can pick up uniforms & equipment, and most will have them by this weekend.
T-Ball Division will be drafted on Thursday March 30th and coaches will notify parents asap, with the intention of starting to practice on Saturday.
Please be aware that even with the delay to start games until April 8th, all divisions will play at least an 18-22 game schedule through the last weekend in June. Theses are delays we experience with many Spring seasons that have inclement weather in March and early April. The mid-April Easter and Spring break also affects scheduling as we try to maximize time for ALL our players.
