| Last Nights All-Star & Tournament Results:
Holbrook's BB 11's advance to 3-0 in Pool Play with a close win over Toms River, 6-3. Brett Benecke gave Holbrook some needed breathing room with a 2 run homer in the top of the 6th!! next game for our boys is on friday vs Lacey LL in Lacey.
Holbrook's SB 10's were eliminated from the Section 3 Championships with a 12-2 loss to Ocean Twp. LL. Great job by our young ladies to Win the District Championship and advance to the Sections, where they came up against older, more experience teams. But our girls will learn from the experience and be back next year!! AND they had fun!!
Holbrook's Major MIT Team edged TRELL, 3-2 on a bases loaded walk-off single by Jake Michalik in the bottom of the 6th, to go to 2-0 in the tournament. Ethan Bloomfield struck out 11 of 13 outs in 4 1/3 innings, yielding only 1 hit!! Nick Conti closed out the game and our boys played some superb defense to keep the game close!!
Next Game tonight in Manchester vs Freehold.
Holbrook's 8yr Old "Machine Pitch' tournament team had a rough night losing to Jackson LL 14-0. Look for our boys to bounce back tonight vs Beachwood!!
