ON SAT. 6-9-2018 I HEARD MANY PEOPLE TALKING ABOUT A YOUNG MAN IN THE MAJOR DIVISION THAT HAD JUST BROKE THE RECORD FOR HOME RUNS IN A SEASON? WHY NOTHING ABOUT THAT? THIS KID SHOULD BE CONGRATULATED.

Thank You Randy C. That is my son, his name is Zaine Toneske, and he plays on the Phillies. We also heard on Sat that he broke the record. Thanks for posting that.

In 1981 Steve Carr set the record at Holbrook with (16) HR's. The record held until 1987 when Dom
Georgiano, a player for the Dodgers and the infamous Jim Furlong, hit (18) home runs. This can be verified through Mr. Furlong. Moving forward, a plaque will be made showing the recent accomplishments of our sluggers and hung in the hallway for all to enjoy. The HR champ will also be awarded a trophy for that year's feat.
