| Played with the guys at Prime Time Senior softball today. There were approximately 50 players on the two fields.
Play changes were 1) second bag around each bag 2) temperature check before play. 3) most of us had chairs in foul territory.
Game was spirited, In our game my teammates won. It was like it used to be, teasing, laughter, competition, trying to win and people took personal responsibility. Afterwards we had a few beers in the parking lot as they always do.
Delray, Palm Beach, Okeeheelee, Boca are all playing with limited modification except common sense and temperature checks. It is my understanding Royal Palm will open in late July and are following SSUSA tournament rules for some reason.
The SSUSA has about 250,000 player around the country of the 4 million senior players. Their rules are designed to allow SSUSA to have tournaments in various parts of the country as we get back to normalcy.
The Prime Time senior league plays on Sundays only and are still in their start up stage after the fiasco. Their league starts in several weeks . Give them a shot, they are great guys with a great board of directors.
