Rountree goes deep, but Cubs can't hold on in the 9th

Solid pitching and defense kept a close game through 8 as the two teams were held to only 3 runs a piece. It's a game of inches as a double that tight-roped the left field foul line over 3rd base opened up a 4-run 9th for the Squires. Larson and Rountree each had 3 hits for the Cubs. Iden and Simon both had two hits for the Squires.
