Jon Leber Goes 3-3 In Snapper Victory Over Clancy's Pub
Clancy's took an early lead scoring one run in the first and another in the second inning. They kept the 2-0 lead until the fourth inning when Pat and Mike McCarthy led off with back to back singles. After a strike out and a fielder's choice, Jon Leber hit his first home run of the season giving South Hills a 3-2 lead. The Snappers added to their lead in the fifth with two walks and a Mike Trusky triple and a sacrifice fly by Pat McCarthy. In the top of the sixth the Snappers scored two more runs, but the game was all but over. In the bottom of the sixth inning, Clancy's had 6 hits including a Joe Aul three RBI triple. The Snappers were able to put the game away in the top of the seventh, scoring two runs.
