SCarborough Jumps On McAuley Early And Coasts to 15-0 win

Scarborough High School jumped out to an early lead on Catherine McAuley and captured a 15-0 victory on Friday.

Thirteen runs in the first three innings allowed Scarborough High School to put the game away early.

A two-run home run by Chloe Griffin, a fielder's choice, a walk by Tori Hale, and a two-run double by Maggie Murphy during the first inning and a groundout by Abbie Murrell and a two-run home run by Lilly Volk in the second inning helped Scarborough High School put some runs on the board early.
Chloe Griffin racked up four RBIs on three hits for Scarborough High School.

Volk put together a nice outing. Volk gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out eight during her five innings of work.

Ashley Littlefield couldn't get it done in the circle for Catherine McAuley, taking a loss. She allowed 15 runs in four innings, walked five and struck out three.
