Huskies hang on to top Springers
After having two games cancelled due to weather during the week, Hutchinson was able to play Sunday afternoon taking on Cold Spring at home. The bats came alive, pounding out 12 hits and scoring 10 runs. Lane Glaser and Tyler Schiller each had doubles. Matt Piechowski, Adam Katzenmeyer and Marcus Hahn collected 2 hits each. Jayden Fleck threw 4 strong innings allowing 2 unearned runs. KK Starrett picked up the win in relief and Cody Arlt got the save in the 9th. The home stand continues as the Huskies host Jordan on Wednesday.
