Schiller's Slam takes care of the Blues
Last season, the Blues got the better of the Huskies 3 times, including region playoffs. Now in their only meeting this season, Hutchinson provided some dramatics to take the win. The Blues took a 2-0 lead into the 7th scoring once in the 2nd and again in the 5th. Jayden Fleck minimized damage and worked around a few miscues, going 7 innings. The Huskies got on the board by taking a few walks and scoring 2 times to tie it. Litchfield answered back with a run in the bottom to take the lead. The 9th inning belonged to Tyler Schiller as he blasted a grandslam to center field to take the lead for good. Lane Glaser added an RBI single later. Sam Starke finished the last 2 innings and got the win in relief. Hutchinson hosts Delano on Friday night.
