Huskies sink Lakers
The Huskies took down the defending state champions in a 5-2 victory on Father's Day in Maple Lake. Carter Kurth got his second start of the season and threw 6 strong innings allowing just 1 earned run. The Huskies plated 4 runs in the 4th, swiping some bases, and getting clutch hits from Zach Kuseske and Jayden Fleck. He also threw the last two innings to pick up the save. Matt Piechowski chipped in 2 hits on the offensive side for the Huskies.
