Huskies crush Saints, hold onto 1st Place
The Huskies hosted the Saints for their only regular season meeting on Friday night. After 2 innings, Hutch took and 8-0 and didn't look back. Jayden Fleck blasted a 3-run shot in the 1st inning. Zach Kuseske added a 2-run bomb in the 2nd inning. Fleck finished with 5 total RBI. Billy Marquardt and brother Caleb each had hits as the Huskies pounded out 14 as a team. KK Starrett took the win in relief throwing 3 innings and allowing just 1 hit. The Huskies go to Buffalo Sunday night for a chance to earn to top spot in the Northstar League and the #1 seed for Region 12 C.
