We're coming!! We started off small and we are building a beautiful thing! We are starting to win and make a mark in this community. I always believed that this would come together and I always said to Wiggins " Let's not focus on the wins. Let's focus on the experience, because that is all that matters". I can definately say that we have provided a great experience to these young men thus far. Now that kids believe the experience will be that much more!!!! Shaping the young men for future success. They never gave up and came out on top to win the game 13-12. They need to feed off that and finish the season strong going into next year. I also would like to congratulate the 4th Grade Charger team for Clinching a spot in the CVL Championship Playoff they are the first Bridgeport Charger team to do so and even more amazing this is the first year that the 4th grade team exist. I also would like to thank Ernest Wiggins for starting an successful program last season and allowing the program to continue to grow this year and hopefully even more next year. I hope all the 4th Grade kids had a lot of fun this year and will return next year as 5th graders, the coaches will be moving up with the team so they will have the same coaches next year. NOW LETS GO GET RIDGEFIELD!!!!!!!!!!! AND REMEMBER JUST WIN BABY!!!!!!!!11 |

Chargers 4th grade team is facing the 1# Ridgefield Team!!! This will be a great game to come out and support your chargers 4th grade team as we go in to this game 5-1 and the Ridgefield Tigers going in at 6-0-1!!! the results of this game will determine both teams seeding in the CVL Playoffs!!! We are looking to finish out the season on a high note by winning our last reg. season game in Ridgefield, CT !!!! So come out and support your Bridgeport Chargers 4th grade team!!! GO CHARGERS!!! P.S. If we win We're locked in @ #2 in the standings!!! |

Bridgeport October 3, 2007 12:12:11 PM Entry ID: 1222273 | Great game by the 4th graders in Aspetuck-Weston Sat. 9/29! The game was thrilling. Weston did not want to go down, but they did 31 - 20! Go Chargers! So proud of Fitzroy Henry and Juan Ceda (nephew and son), first-time football team players. Unbelievable sportsmanship by #21 (Jordan Pettway)of the Chargers. He was determined not to let his injured leg prevent him fom playing & making a touchdown - So fitting a name which is symbolic of the adult Jordan who scored the winning point with a flu! Go figure. I like the team-building skills, structure, and discipline football gives our young men. Michelle, you do a great job as team mom! Congrats & Great Job by the coaches as well. |
