-Children will participate in scrimmages, games, and drills meant to teach the basics of the sport, be fun, and improve skills. Stress will be placed on effort, sportsmanship, and teamwork. All offerings are coached by Henry Gutersn, an Island youth coach since 2004 and current PE Teacher at The Island School.
-For BASKETBALL , 4’/6’/8’ hoops will be available, if needed for the grade group.
-For MULTI-SPORTS , children will play up to seven different sports, depending on grade group. Sports include: basketball, baseball, tennis, hockey, soccer, and football. All sports equipment is provided and made of soft materials (soft baseball bats and balls, for example).
