Established in 2013 under the direction of Jared Verebey (Sacred Heart University) and his stellar coaching staff, The Garden State Surge Team Akadema Baseball Club is rapidly growing and becoming a recognized professionally run club, throughout the baseball community. Our motto of Grow, Strive and Succeed is geared toward extreme player development. Our player development is geared toward the growth of our players to be prepared for high school baseball and the recruiting process for the student athlete careers. Jared Verebey is a very known recognized name in NJ for his high level career at Bergen Catholic High School and going on to play college baseball at Fairleigh Dickinson University and Sacred Heart University. Jared is known in the state for his "One on One" recruiting advisory which helped provide a non stressful environment to the large amount of players he has helped find their student athlete homes at the collegiate level. The Garden State Surge Baseball Club's approach is to build confidence and success both on and off the field through fundamentals, teamwork and sportsmanship.
